Stanley and DeWalt Construction Zone

Get your hands dirty at the DEWALT and Stanley Construction Zone!

The Construction Zone, from DEWALT and Stanley, will offer an exciting mix of challenges and prizes, including the DEWALT Drive-5 Challenge and the Stanley Xtreme^TM Hammer Time.

Comprehensive product information and technical advice will also be available throughout the event from their product experts.

Test for yourself, the core DEWALT range and get hands on with the latest innovative products offering optimum performance, durability and safety.

DeWalt Challenge

The Big Rig - Live Retrofitting Demonstrations

Interbuild Onsite has a brand new retrofitting feature for 2010; the Big Rig will be a two storey demonstration area where visitors can see practical demonstrations covering a variety of retrofit solutions. In addition to this, the Big Rig will be a key information point for visitors looking to find the latest retrofit knowledge, requirements, training and certifications.

Practical demonstrations will include installation of solar thermal, PV, solid wall insulation, general insulation, energy advice and thermal imaging. In addition to this the Rig will also demonstrate the installation of both wind turbine bases and air source heat pumps.

Live Flooring Demos

FITA Interbuild Onsite will once again be hosting live flooring demonstrations ran by FITA (Flooring Industry Training Association).

Held across the four days of Interbuild, these are unmissable opportunities to learn new floor laying skills and techniques for free.

The demonstrations will cover all the essentials of flooring, from fitting on and around staircases to managing tricky corners and fittings. The sessions will also cover all the key types of flooring materials and how to measure, cut and fit them effectively.

The Flooring Demonstration Area will be facilitated by the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) and the Contract Flooring Association (CFA), whose demonstrators have years of experience of both fitting floors and training flooring contractors and fitters.

FMB Professional Services Zone

The FMB, in association with Nissan, is the largest trade association in the UK building industry and will be hosting a networking and advice zone within Interbuild Onsite. With over 60 years of experience, the FMB (Federation of Master Builders) Professional Services Zone will provide visitors with a great opportunity to learn about best practice within the industry.

This zone will include an exciting mix of companies and organisations offering products and services designed to help you win new business. From software and marketing aids to business support this area will provide visitors with a great opportunity to learn about best practice within the industry.

Tool Demo Area

Another brand new feature for Interbuild Onsite 2010 is the Tool Demo Area. See some of the biggest brands test their products in front of your eyes. With various demonstrations taking place over the four days, this new feature is the perfect opportunity to try before you buy!

Painting and Decorating Demo Area

The PDA (Painting and Decorating Association) will be hosting a new demo area aimed specifically at the painting and decorating sector. With live demonstrations taking place over the four days, this area is your perfect opportunity to see the latest painting and decorating products in action.

Irwin's Ultimate Tradesman Challenge

Irwin will once again be hosting the grand final of their Ultimate Tradesman Challenge at Interbuild Onsite 2010.

Along with the winners of their regional heats, you can enter yourself as a wildcard contestant in the final challenges at the show, and test you skills for the chance to win a custom Aston Martin. What's the challenge?
