DEDICATED FIRE RESISTANT FENESTRATION SYSTEMS LAUNCHED BY REYNAERS

New from Reynaers Aluminium is a complete range of specialist fire resistant aluminium fenestration systems, fully compliant with European standards.

The Reynaers fire products range offers innovative fire resistant window, door and curtain walling solutions based on the company’s popular CS77 profiles and accessories for windows and doors and the complete range of CW50 curtain walling.

Not only do the new products provide either a 30 minute or 60 minute fire resistant rating, but they also do this while visually matching the complete range of Reynaers’ non-fire related systems.

Once installed, the fire products work by sub-dividing building into various fire resistant zones connected by fire resistant escape routes and fire exits. They limit temperature rise and fire spread protecting people in other areas of a building and gaining valuable time for the arrival of emergency services.

“In introducing our fire products range we are able to offer specifiers and architects complete fenestration packages fully compliant with European standards following extensive and successful independent testing and certification,” explained Mark Jones, Reynaers Technical Director.

Window and door options CS77-FP profiles and accessories are available as outward opening single and double doors, panic doors, combined fixed window elements as well as glazed partition walls. The choice of fully certified configurations offers one of the largest ranges of options and combinations in the industry complete with an extensive variety of accessories.

Similarly, Reynaers curtain walling CW50-FP is now available as a 30 or 60 minute fire resistant option that can be seamlessly integrated with the full CW50 curtain walling range.

The new fire products have been comprehensively tested in accordance with and in full compliance to the European standards EN 1363-1, EN 1364-1 and EN 1634-1.

“Key to the introduction of our fire products is the establishment of a network of fabricators strategically located throughout the UK,” added Mark Jones. “All are members of the Reynaers Fire Partners network, guaranteeing optimum system fabrication and performance, and all will be Firas accredited.”
