Concrete Repairs Recognised for Safety Excellence
Specialist contractor, Concrete Repairs Limited (CRL) has recently been awarded the RoSPA President’s Award for Occupational Health and Safety. Presented to CRL at an official ceremony on 12th May, the President’s Award is the culmination of ten consecutive gold awards from the RoSPA committee that recognise CRL’s exceptional levels of health and safety management.
Noting health and safety successes for more than 50 years, the RoSPA awards recognises CRL as an organisation that takes accident prevention and health and safety issues extremely seriously. CRL has been awarded the President’s Award in recognition of its long-standing commitment to reduce the number of accidents in the workplace, whilst also creating its own everyday health and safety at work policy.
David Rawlins, RoSPA Awards Manager, commented, “Concrete Repairs Ltd has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of it employees and others. Organisations which do this deserve to have such dedication recognised which is where the RoSPA Awards come in. As well as there being clear ethical reasons and legal requirements for good health and safety management, there is also a strong business case. RoSPA is delighted to publicly honour organisations which have demonstrated their work to improve performance in this sphere.”
Due to the nature of work undertaken by CRL as a principal contractor, contractor, designer or CDM coordinator, it is important that effective safety management is implemented to ensure the safety of on site employees and members of the public. By maintaining consistently high standards year on year, CRL has achieved this.
